The U.S. military asked the public on Sunday for help in locating a missing F-35 fighter jet.
Joint Base Charleston, which is located in South Carolina, said on social media that efforts were underway to locate the aircraft with the help of Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort following a “mishap” in the afternoon.
“The pilot ejected safely. If you have any information that may help our recovery teams locate the F-35, please call the Base Defense Operations Center at 843-963-3600,” Joint Base Charleston said in a post to its X account.

“Based on the jet’s last-known position and in coordination with the FAA, we are focusing our attention north of JB Charleston, around Lake Moultrie and Lake Marion,” Joint Base Charleston added in a second post to X.
Joint Base Charleston sent out the plea for help at 5:36 p.m. ET and the second post at 6:48 p.m. ET. As of press time, several hours later, there were no further updates on where the F-35 might be located.
A spokesperson for Joint Base Charleston said the F-35B Lightning II jet from Marine Attack Training Squadron was placed on autopilot before the pilot ejected, according to local ABC affiliate WCIV. Another news outlet, NBC affiliate WCBD, reported that Joint Base Charleston said the pilot was transported to a local medical center and in stable condition while his wingman safely landed at the base.
Despite a lack of information on the whereabouts of the missing fighter jet, there was plenty of buzz about the aircraft on social media.
“How in the hell do you lose an F-35? How is there not a tracking device and we’re asking the public to what, find a jet and turn it in?” Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) said in a post to X.
Others took political shots at President Joe Biden and his administration.
“Thank goodness the pilot ejected safely. But do we really need ‘Find My F-35‘ to locate an $80 million dollar jet? Joe Biden’s America,” said the account for the House Judiciary GOP.
“Joe Biden’s Pentagon can’t find a freaking F-35 jet, but don’t worry — they know exactly where all our money in Ukraine is going,” said The Federalist’s Sean Davis.
Sooooo… An $80,000.000.00 F-35 Military Aircraft goes Missing.. After the Pilot Ejects from it, Pushed the Auto-Pilot Button, His Wingman Lands Safely,Along with the Pilot… And No One Thought to Put a $29.99 Air Tag from Amazon on it??? WTF!!!
A Mishap?? WTH is Mishap with an $80 Million Dollar Fighter Jet?? Was it On Fire?? Mechanical Issues?? Why Couldn’t the “Wingman” Fly Along Side of it, and Figure Out it,
A. It Nose Dived Into the Ocean
B. Crashed
C. Safely Landed in the New CCP Base in Cuba
D. Landed Safely By Remote on a CCP Carrier Ship
And Who Is Going to Take the Fall for This “Mishap”?? Admiral, General… Sec. Defense???
Or Maybe the Pants Crapper Squatting in the People’s House!!!!
What a Fucking Joke Our Country has Turned Into, No Wonder Why Our Enemies Laugh at Us, The POS Corrupt O’Biden is Useless, Our Military Is Weak, With Woke Leadership!!!! What’s $80 Million to This Bullshit administration?? Just Fire Up the Printing Press and Print Out Some More.. It’s Fucking Useless Anyways!!!
#FJB, His Handler’s, His Supporter’s, and Everyone Who Supports This Shit Show!!!
Fuck You All Too Hell!!!!
you have got to be kidding! now, we have lost and by lost i mean literally lost a plane that has presumably crashed and our military know not where it is?
This is beyond embarrassing – it’s pathetic. The insult on top of injury is this, (believe it or not): The military knows EXACTLY where this jet is. However, (true to WOKE-form), they’ll play the ‘victim’, making people believe they actually need ‘help’. It’s beyond insulting – it’s infuriating.
This is a multi-million-dollar jet, which (I’m sure) has some type of ‘locating device’ which would activate even if the jet crashed somewhere…and yet, “We can’t seem to find it”?.
WHAT A BUNCH OF HORSESHIT!!! For me, it embraces two possibilities:
1). IF it (actually) happened – they know where it is.
2). It never happened…more fake news.
How did the wingman safely LAND at the base? Landed with WHAT? The F-35? On a UFO? Don’t tell me he’s flapping his arms all the way to JBC!
I feel like I’m trapped in the year 2505! (props to whoever get this joke)
I saw this on our milk carton this morning.
