Tucker Seen Building His Own TV Studio After Fox Staff Tears Down His Barn Studio

Photos captured by the Daily Mail appear to show Tucker Carlson hard at work building his own TV studio at his home in Woodstock, Maine just days after Fox News staffers ransacked his longtime studio to reclaim company property.

For years, Carlson delivered his nightly primetime segments from a homey barn on his property, regularly reaching more than three million viewers during his 8 p.m. hour on Fox.

The photographs are the latest evidence that Carlson is determinably working to reestablish his media presence on his own terms.

Sporting a red-and-black plaid shirt and barn coat-style vest, Carlson was spotted unloading wooden planks and an axe from his car while staff assisted him in rebuilding a studio that will take a month or more to see fruition.

Many of his team members are former employees of his Fox show who left the network in protest following its abrupt firing of Carlson on April 24, a testament to the allure that comes with working for the conservative superstar.

Construction manager Patrick Feeney spoke about how the team is preparing for an eventual relaunch of Carlson’s program.

“Fox came in last week and got all their s*** out of there. They took the set and everything, all the equipment, the chairs, the desk, the fake walls. There’s no hardware in place at all. There’s not even an infrastructure for a TV studio for a long time. We just came to clean it up and get it looking like something again. There’s no imminent venture. We’re just getting ready in case something does happen. There’s nothing we’re doing other than cleaning the place up, shoring up the walls, making it look good again,” Feeney said.

Although Carlson mostly mans the phone lines to shore up support for his next chapter, he hasn’t shied away from stepping out with the occasional drill or moving materials around to assist his staff. Time will tell whether he and his attorneys are able to break from his ongoing contract with Fox and launch his own show, perhaps on Twitter as he’s indicated.
