On Tuesday night, police responded to a call at Senator Ted Cruz’s (R-TX) home in response to a report of a stabbing or cutting incident.
According to KTRK, Houston Police Department (HPD) responded to a report of a 14-year-old with self-inflicted wounds.
However, authorities were unable to confirm whether or not the teenager was a member of Cruz’s family.

Fox News Houston reporter, Matthew Seedorff, reported that HPD confirmed it was “not a family violence issue” and that “no criminal activity” was involved.
A spokesperson from Texas Senator Ted Cruz’s office released a statement, stating, “This is a family matter, and thankfully their daughter is okay. There were no serious injuries. The family requests that the media respect their daughter’s privacy at this time.”

The girl was taken to the hospital for treatment and there was no serious injuries.
In January, Caroline, then 13, came out as bisexual and said she disagreed with much of her father’s politics.
The teen said people are quick to judge her over her Republican dad’s politics, despite the fact that she often opposes his conservative views.
‘A lot of people judge me based upon him at first glance,’ she said in a TikTok. ‘But I really disagree with most of his views.’
She also revealed the perks and downsides of having a parent in the public eye, calling out their media team for editing the length of her shirt on the family Christmas card.
Caroline, whose TikTok account @_caro_iguess_ has since been made private, started gaining new followers after people identified her as the Texas senator’s oldest daughter.
Caroline doesn’t realize most of the country agrees with her father, not 50% over 2/3 so most people think she is making a fool of herself. No one admires her for these ridiculous statements. Maybe she should get off of Tik Tok and start listening to Thomas Sowell she might learn something.
TikToc needs to be permanently banned! I have seen some of the stuff posted on it. Sickening. No wonder so many kids are f’d up. Back when: I was too busy as a kid, at grandma’s swimming, digging for worms, fishing, froggin, shooting squirrels, mini biking, helping split wood, raking leaves, and hanging out with my 5 male cousins. Then when home hanging with my sisters doing hair and nails. I had the best of both worlds as a kid. Loved being a tomboy, then being a girly girl! Now-a-days- Kids these days constantly on their phones and missing out on LIFE. Parents need to be more involved. Kids are NOT fully to blame… parents need to be more aware of what their kids are doing. Limit phone time.
Sounds like she came out as Bi in an effort to fit in with her peers; and has issues with their views, not her Dad’s. Sad what abuse society is allowing in the name of social justice!
I notice the media jumped all over this. Why not handle this the same way Pelosi’s family issue was?No reporting. Two different standards of media coverage as usual. God help this country!
