‘New Classic’: Trump Impersonates Biden Getting Lost on Stage

Former President Donald Trump mockingly impersonated President Joe Biden getting lost on stage during a campaign stop in Las Vegas on Saturday.

Addressing the crowd, Trump said, “He can’t put two sentences together and he’s in charge of nuclear warfare. Oh My!”

Trump suggested he would be able to jump off the stage while Biden would be “driving in circles,” not knowing where to go following a speech.

Shuffling to the back of the stage, Trump put on an act depicting Biden walking into the wall, throwing up his hands in frustration, and then apparently realizing the exit was to his side.

As Trump did his shtick, the crowd in Las Vegas cheered.

Benny Johnson, a conservative political commentator, said in a post to X that Trump “mocking Biden getting lost on stage is becoming a new classic.”

The teasing didn’t stop there, as Trump asked the audience to judge his nicknames for Biden: “Sleepy Joe Biden” or “Crooked Joe Biden.” It seemed “Crooked” won the room.

Biden’s tendency to lose his train of thought while speaking, along with moments caught on camera where he has tripped or fallen over, have spurred concerns about his ability to lead effectively.

Already the oldest person to be president, Biden would be 86 at the end of a second term. Trump is 77, but polls don’t reflect as much concern about his age.

Trump and Biden dominate the 2024 primary polls, but general election polls show a close match-up between them in what could be a 2020 rematch.

During his remarks, Trump also talked about policy. He pledged to reverse Biden’s policies related to the U.S.-Mexico border right away if he is elected to a second term in office.

“On Day One, we’re going to terminate every single open borders policy of the Biden administration. And we will begin the single-largest domestic deportation operation in American history,” Trump said.

In addition, Trump spoke about the criminal indictments he now faces, including two cases brought by special counsel Jack Smith over the 2020 election and his handling of classified documents.

Trump claimed Biden “indicted the leading candidate of the Republican Party.”
