A clip from an Al Jazeera broadcast is circulating online after the network’s correspondent reporting from a Gaza hospital appears to abruptly end a live interview with an injured Palestinian man as he starts criticizing the presence of Hamas militants in the complex.
The Al Jazeera reporter was at the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Gaza, interviewing an elderly Palestinian man who said, according to a rough translation: “What’s happening is criminal! Why is the resistance hiding among us? Why don’t they go to hell and hide there? They are not resistance!”

In the clip, the reporter, whose identity is unclear, then turns away from his interview subject and appears to quickly change the subject.
The man continues to talk and tries to follow the journalist, even as he’s walking away from him.
Several commenters online have criticized the Qatari-funded network for “silencing” the truth. Others allege Al Jazeera is outright supporting Hamas, and chided its coverage of the ongoing conflict as one-sided.
Last month, a purported Israeli airstrike killed the family of a prominent Al Jazeera correspondent based in Gaza.
Earlier this month, the BBC aired footage of a grieving Palestinian woman having her mouth covered by rescue workers after she blamed the “dogs of Hamas” for an Israeli airstrike in Gaza.
Tell us something we don’t already know.
Nope. Clearly this is Israeli disinfo. It’s public info that Israeli forces built tunnels under hospitals themselves. Hamas isn’t hiding among them, that guy is repeating what the IDF has been claiming as justification for attacking the hospitals. people are getting picked off by snipers when they walk around or try to leave. This story is fake news.
Fake News.
He needs to be fired. Looks like he’s PROTECTING hamas terrorist instead of reporting truth
