On Biden’s Birthday, Trump’s Doctor Issues a Bill of Good Health

Donald Trump has released a letter from his doctor giving him an ‘excellent’ bill of health on Joe Biden’s 81st birthday.

The 77-year-old former president posted the note from New Jersey-based Dr Bruce Aronwald saying he has lost weight and his cognitive exams were ‘exceptional’.

It came as polls showed three quarters of Americans think Biden is too old for a second term.

Republican rivals and the White House have also started to point to Trump’s age as a factor in his 2024 run. At the end of a potential second term he would be 82.

Former South Carolina governor Nikki Haley, 51, one of his Republican opponents, has called for politicians aged over 75 to undergo mental competency tests.

Now, Trump has hit back by sharing the glowing review from his physician.

It says dieting and ‘daily physical activity’ have paid off and he can expect to live for ‘years’ to come.

‘I have been President Donald J. Trump’s personal physician since 2021,’ Aronwald wrote.

‘During this time, I have conducted several comprehensive examinations, the most recent being September 12, 2023, and have supervised specialist consultations along with ancillary testing for screening and preventative health maintenance.

‘I am pleased to report that President Trump’s overall health is excellent. His physical exams were well within the normal range and his cognitive exams were exceptional,’ he wrote.

‘In addition, his most recent extensive laboratory analysis remains well within normal limits and was even more favorable than prior testing in some of the most significant parameters, most likely secondary to weight reduction’.

At the time he said he weighed 215 pounds, which was a drop of 25 pounds from his arrest in Manhattan four months earlier.

in 2020 the then White House physician Dr. Sean Conley reported that Trump was 244 pounds during a physical.

When Trump had his physical with previous White House Physician Dr. Ronny Jackson – now a Trump loyalist House member from Texas – his height was listed as 6-feet 3-inches and weight at 239 pounds.

At the time Jackson said: ‘It is called genetics. Some people have just great genes. I told the president that if he had a healthier diet over the last 20 years, he might live to be 200 years old.’

The latest medical letter said Trump’s cardiovascular tests were all normal and cancer screening was negative.

His weight had reduced due to an improved diet and continued daily physical activity, the letter said.

It did not give a current weight for Trump.

Dr Aronwald wrote: ‘It is my opinion that President Trump is currently in excellent health.

‘And with his continued interest in preventative health monitoring and maintenance he will continue to enjoy a healthy active lifestyle for years to come.’

Great news! I actually noticed that he lost some of his extra weight recently……. For his height 200 Pounds is really ideal…. By the time he starts his second term, I bet he will be down to 200 Pounds. Mind you, he was a very slim man throughout most of his life. Congratulations Mr. President.
