Elon Musk Announces Update In Long-Rumored Fight with Mark Zuckerberg

Elon Musk provided a major update on a long-rumored cage match with Mark Zuckerberg on Saturday. Musk announced that the fight would be streamed on X with all proceeds going towards veterans’ charities.

“Zuck v Musk fight will be live-streamed on ,” Musk wrote in a tweet. “All proceeds will go to charity for veterans.”

The challenge reportedly came about after Musk learned that Meta was developing a Twitter alternative, which has now gone live. Musk, who owns Twitter, suggested a cage match with Zuckerberg. The CEO of Facebook and Instagram’s parent company, Meta, responded with a cryptic “send me location,” post, referencing a quote from UFC legend Khabib Nurmagomedov. Musk then proposed the UFC Apex in Las Vegas as a potential location, which UFC President Dana White then agreed to.

White recently revealed in an interview that both tech titans are “absolutely dead serious” about the fight. “They both wanna do it,” White said. “Mark Zuckerberg hit me up first and said, ‘is he serious?’ And I said, ‘I don’t know, let me ask him.’”

Zuckerberg has been seen as the favorite if the fight does indeed get made due to his extensive Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training. An avid mixed-martial arts fan, Zuckerberg recently obtained his blue belt.

As for Musk, he has enlisted the help of UFC legend George St. Pierre and podcast host Lex Fridman, who has a black belt in jiu jitsu. Zuckerberg has also trained with Friedman.

This is just so stupid and proves nothing. Mark is an as— who wants to prove himself as a fighter. I just think less of him.
