Russian authorities launched a murder investigation Sunday into the car bomb killing of the daughter of an influential ally of President Vladimir Putin.
Darya Dugina, the daughter of Russian war mastermind and Putin “spiritual advisor” Alexander Dugin, died instantly late Saturday night when a bomb went off inside her father’s Toyota Land Cruiser, according to Russian state media.
“An explosive device, presumably installed in the Toyota Land Cruiser, went off on a public road and the car caught fire. The female driver died at the scene,” investigators said in a statement to TASS. “All possible versions of the crime are being probed into.”
The explosion occurred while Dugina, 29, was driving on Mozhaisk Highway in Moscow.

Her father intended to ride along, but ended up in a different vehicle, according to news outlet Baza.
Often called “Putin’s Brain,” the elder Dugin is a proponent of the “Russian World” and “New Russia” ideologies that some have said pushed Russian President Vladimir Putin’s decision to invade Ukraine.
Both Dugin and his daughter had been previously sanction by the United States, according to CNN.
Russian officials have implied Ukraine is behind the attack.
“If the Ukrainian trace is confirmed… then we are talking about the policy of state terrorism implemented by the Kiev regime,” Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said in a statement reported by TASS.

Retaliating against the country that unlawfully invaded and killed hundreds if not thousands of Ukrainian citizens, destroyed homes, schools, hospitals and businesses, is a problem for Russia??
Seems turn about is fair play. I would say that regardless of who planted a bomb in the Toyota, the guilty person for those deaths is Mr. Putin for his own reckless disregard for human life and the sovereignty of the country of Ukraine!
