Chris Cuomo Sounds Very Open to Voting for Trump in 2024

Former CNN anchor Chris Cuomo surprised observers during a recent interview where he suggested the country might head in a safer, more prosperous direction under former President Donald Trump should he win reelection next year.

Speaking with podcaster Patrick Bet-David, Cuomo expressed his feelings that America is stronger than any one individual and credited Trump with delivering more good for the country than President Joe Biden, whom he says also comes with a bevy of downsides.

“Would we survive another [term]… uh, yes,” said Cuomo in reference to President Trump. “I don’t think there’s any greater risk to America with him than with Biden. And for people who are now going to attack me and say, what are you talking about, Trump is like this crazy man. Well, look, as Patrick says, the data’s the data. Nobody was trying to kill us when Trump was president in a way that they are now. If anything, there’s more hostility.”

“Existentially, I’m not afraid of a Trump presidency… Unlike many people in America, I believe the country is much stronger than any individual leader,” he added.

From “Russian election interference” to “Biden the gaffe machine” and a perennially dysfunctional Congress, Cuomo opined, America has “survived” and moved on, even if there was no benefit and things perhaps should have been “done differently.”

“In terms of who I’m going to vote for, I would really have to see where we are at that moment in time,” he said.

“So you’re open to Trump,” suggested Bet-David.

“I am always open, and people will say ‘Bull***, you’ve never voted for a Republican in your life.’ Wrong. And not only have I, the first vote I ever cast was for a Republican,” Cuomo replied.

Since leaving CNN under a cloud of disgrace at the end of 2021, Cuomo has emerged on NewsNation where he hosts a show with a respectable following. He still issues bipartisan critiques, as he did during a recent interview with Vivek Ramaswamy where he challenged the presidential contender’s stances on a number of topics. Last year he called House Democrats’s select committee investigation into the January 6th, 2021 Capitol riots a “gotcha game.”

With a new prism of humility, Cuomo admits he will never again be a ratings juggernaut.

“I’ll never be that again. That was taken from me, I believe wrongly,” Cuomo said, according to Variety. “I’ll litigate that. I’m not going to bitch about it in the press…I’m trying to remember what I’ve been through every day, and not forgetting and falling back into what works and what will rate more and what will get me higher on the media list and what will get more people talking about me.”

If he is still not sure who he would vote for between Trump and Biden, then this guy still has his head in the clouds. Anyone with even one working brain cell who would even consider voting for the most corrupt criminal to steal the WH in our history, is a buffoon.
