New Rasmussen Poll Delivers Much Needed Good News to GOP

According to a new poll from Rasmussen Reports, a total of forty-seven percent of likely voters would vote for the GOP candidate if the midterm elections for Congress were to be held today. This is in comparison to the 42 percent of those surveyed who stated they would cast a ballot for the Democratic Party candidate.

A report from Newsmax revealed that the figures demonstrate that, as of now, Republicans are keeping a 5-point lead over the competition from last week. This is some much-needed good news as many members of the Republican Party have been sort of feeling the momentum for them and the upcoming elections starting to dwindle as Biden announces big moves like the student debt cancellation plan. Here’s how the data from the recent poll breaks down:

  • 3% said they would vote for some other candidate. Eight percent said they were uncertain.
  • 85% of Republicans say they would vote for their own party’s congressional candidate, compared to 80% of Democrats, who would vote for the Democrat candidate.
  • 43% of independent voters say they would vote for the Republican, compared to 33% who would vote Democrat. Seven percent would vote for someone else, while
  • 17% say they were undecided.
  • 52% of retirees said they would vote for the Republican, while 39% say they would vote for the Democrat.

The survey was conducted between Aug. 28-Sept. 1. There was a total of 2,500 likely voters. It has a margin of error of plus or minus 2 percentage points.

For whatever reason, it seems that Republicans have a very difficult time keeping a positive attitude when Democrats start putting on the pressure. I guess to some degree this is understandable because we’ve seen Democrats lie, cheat, and steal to get to the position their party and ideology now occupy. However, we can’t allow the left to beat us down on the inside. That’s what they want. Individuals who are progressive in their thinking and practice are terrified of anyone who might dare to stand up for their own liberty. Therefore, they want you to feel defeated mentally, so you’ll just quit.

We cannot allow that to happen. Of course, it’s harder to keep a positive attitude when you have people like Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell who seems to want to sabotage the progress the party has been making all year because they want to return to politics as usual. Establishment politicians do not want to see Trump supported authentic conservative candidates win big in November. If that happens, then it means the old guard’s day is truly done.

This is a mindset from the establishment that sees politics as a nice, cushy career and not a mission or genuine public service. Our founders believed public service was a great way to contribute to your country, do good things for your people, and protect liberty. It was never designed to be a career path where a person can become wealthy for very little effort and output. That is abuse of the political arena, an illness that has infected individuals on both sides of the political spectrum.

5 points may not be good enough to combat the Democrat’s “fraud” network.
It’s a shame MSM hid that Biden quote from an interview he did in 2020. And even worse that the Republicans haven’t used Biden’s Freudian slip against him.
