U.S. Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) had a hilarious comeback when a seemingly transgender stormed the stage at the Texas Youth Action summit on Saturday.
While Gaetz was on the stage, a large man wearing a dress stormed the stage and proceeded to advance towards the congressman. “This is a very strange individual,” Gaetz could be heard saying as the protester was grabbed and escorted off the stage.
When the disruptor was finally dragged out of the event venue, the audience erupted into applause and cheers. “Was that Liz Cheney?” the congressman then said, drawing laughs.

Gaetz joined a number of fellow lawmakers and conservative thought leaders for the annual Texas Youth Summit.
Additional speakers included Donald Trump Jr., U.S. Reps. Cory Mills (R-FL), Lauren Boebert (R-CO) and Wesley Hunt (R-SC), Libs of TikTok founder Chaya Raichik and several others.
Founded in 2019 by Christian Collins, the Texas Youth Summit seeks to make progress in the culture war by motivating young conservative voters.
“America is being lost because our culture is being shaped in the minds of our youth by those who seek to fundamentally change the American way. The Texas Youth Summit is how we counter the effects of the left and begin to win back the hearts and minds of our Nation’s most precious resource, our future generations,” reads the event’s website.
“The mission of the Texas Youth Summit is to identify, educate, and train students to promote principles of fiscal responsibility, free market, limited government, American Exceptionalism, and the Judeo-Christian principles this country was founded upon.”
