Trump Wins Nevada Republican Caucus

On Thursday night, former President Donald Trump won Nevada’s Republican presidential caucus.

The race was called by the Associated Press for the former president who gained all 26 delegates in the caucus as the only major GOP candidate on the ballot.

The win in the Silver State came just hours after Trump won 75 percent of the vote of the Republican presidential caucus in the US Virgin Islands.

Even without Trump on the ballot, former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley couldn’t find a path to victory in Nevada’s state-run Republican presidential primary on Tuesday. The former two-term South Carolina governor lost on Tuesday in Nevada to a “none of these candidates” option by an over two-to-one margin in the GOP primary. Trump supporters couldn’t write the former president’s name, but could select “none of these candidates.”

The two competing contests are a result of a Democratic-supported law in 2021 that changed the presidential nominating process from caucuses to a state-run primary

Haley’s team skipped the Nevada caucus, viewing the state’s GOP as too loyal to the former president. She hasn’t been to the state since speaking in October at the Republican Jewish Coalition’s annual leadership conference in Las Vegas

On Wednesday, Haley claimed, “Nevada – it’s such a scam. They were supposed to have a primary. Trump rigged it so the GOP chairman – who’s been indicted – would go and create a caucus.”

Nevada GOP chair Michael McDonald responded by saying Haley “is not a real serious candidate.”

He told Fox News, “The fact of the matter is she didn’t show up. She did not campaign in Nevada and neither did ‘none of the above’ and ‘none of the above’ won.”

Trump posted on Truth Social after Tuesday’s win, “A bad night for Nikki Haley. Losing by almost 30 points in Nevada to “None of These Candidates.” Watch, she’ll soon claim Victory!”

The next primary is Feb 24 in Haley’s home state of South Carolina followed by Michigan three days later. The week after is Super Tuesday.

Even CNN was saying yesterday that “eventually” Nikki will have to win something…

When CNN even calls your campaign out for it’s foolishness then you’re in trouble. It was fun watching them all come to terms with the fact that the Supreme Court didn’t buy their insurrection lies for the last few months as a reason to subvert Democracy and keep Trump off the ballots. It reminded me of all the wailing and crying Democrats when Hillary lost.

HALEY IS DOING REAL HARM TO HERSELF BY DEMEANING PRESIDENT TRUMP.

SHE CAN RUN AGAINST HIM — RESPECTFULLY — BUT SHE HAS TURNED INTO A BITTER PERSON.
