In what promises to be one of the most interesting media events of the year, former President Donald Trump has announced a forthcoming interview with none other than tech mogul Elon Musk.
The announcement, made casually by Trump on his Truth Social platform, hinted at a Monday night special that’s sure to captivate audiences across the globe.
Trump posted: “ON MONDAY NIGHT I’LL BE DOING A MAJOR INTERVIEW WITH ELON MUSK — Details to follow!” With Trump’s knack for the dramatic and Musk’s penchant for the unexpected, the interview is expected to be a ratings juggernaut.

At his Atlanta rally alongside Vice Presidential candidate JD Vance, Trump voiced support for electric vehicles, influenced by the Tesla CEO’s backing. The endorsement contrasts his previous skepticism towards EVs. During the event, Trump criticized Democrat nominee Kamala Harris for her push to phase out gasoline-powered vehicles in favor of electric ones. He shared his concerns over their limited range, high costs, and significant dependency on Chinese manufacturing—pointing out what he sees as flaws in the Democratic approach to environmental reform.
“They’re fantastic and I’m for electric cars. I have to be, you know, because Elon endorsed me very strongly. So I have no choice,” Trump said.
“I’m for a small slice as a slice. You want to have every kind of a car imaginable. You want to have gas-propelled cars, you want to have hybrids, you want to have every kind of a car imaginable. They want to go all electric, and there’s no way you can ever load them up. They call it loading them, you can’t load them.”

I don’t have anything against EV, but I am with Trump not everyone can afford them, so we must have a choice for gasoline or EV. Should not be mandated for EV only. Elon should understand this ,that most people can’t hardly buy food,utlities, rent and etc.
I have nothing against EV’s and think there a solid future for electric cars. Locomotives run on electric motors but they get their electricity from diesel generators with fuel tanks that hold 5000 gallons of diesel fuel! The point is, power from electric motors isn’t the problem it’s how to develop that electric energy from batteries that don’t cost a fortune and doesn’t pollute at the some point in the chain of developing that energy; We simply aren’t there yet! As technology gets better and more affordable with a backbone support in place; electric cars will absolutely have a future. We should not eliminate fossil fuels in an attempt to force people into electric vehicles. Electric vehicles will naturally merge in as a viable alternative and hopefully be a better substitute on once these hurdles are overcome. It’s like anything else, once the technology is there and is an affordable alternative people will move in that direction. Everything from politics to economics is playing a role in this technology. Attempts like those of the Biden administration to force someone to purchase a product that is inferior and or two expensive will never work.
