Supreme Court Makes Major Unanimous Decision

The U.S. Supreme Court on Thursday struck down an appeal from pro-life activists seeking to restrict national access to an abortion drug that critics claim violates state-level restrictions that entirely outlaw the procedure.

Fox News reported on the landmark decision, which found that the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has the authority to approve the use of mifepristone, a drug that induces abortion, in cases where women are medically qualified to receive treatment yet live in states outlawing abortion through any means.

Pro-life advocates and officials in Texas challenged the FDA’s 2022 guidance, but the high court ruled that they lacked standing to bring the suit.

“Under Article III of the Constitution, a plaintiff’s desire to make a drug less available for others does not establish standing to sue. Nor do the plaintiffs’ other standing theories suffice,” Justice Brett Kavanaugh wrote, who authored the unanimous opinion.

“The plaintiffs have sincere legal, moral, ideological, and policy objections to elective abortion and to FDA’s relaxed regulation of mifepristone,” he said. “But under Article III of the Constitution, those kinds of objections alone do not establish a justiciable case or controversy in federal court.”

“Here, the plaintiffs have failed to demonstrate that FDA’s relaxed regulatory requirements likely would cause them to suffer an injury in fact. For that reason, the federal courts are the wrong forum for addressing the plaintiffs’ concerns about FDA’s actions,” he said.

“The plaintiffs may present their concerns and objections to the President and FDA in the regulatory process, or to Congress and the President in the legislative process. And they may also express their views about abortion and mifepristone to fellow citizens, including in the political and electoral processes,” he wrote.

In March, justices listened as both sides petitioned arguments over whether the FDA has the authority to usurp state laws outlawing the mailing of mifepristone to women seeking abortion.

According to the New York Times, twenty-one states have implemented restrictions to the procedure earlier in pregnancy that were protected under Roe v. Wade, which was abolished in 2022. Fox added that 14 of these states have banned abortion in all or most cases, while two others have banned abortion upon detection of a fetal heartbeat, which typically takes place around the sixth week of pregnancy.

The ruling comes one day after former President Donald Trump appeared before the heavily conservative annual conference of the Southern Baptist church where some of the most fervent pro-life activists in the country are seeking reassurance that the Republican will continue to support favorable policies if he returns to the White House.

Rather than appear in person, Trump opted for a two-minute video where he did not mention the word “abortion,” and just months earlier advocated for Republicans to protect the practice of in-vitro fertilization, a procedure the Southern Baptist church announced its opposition to at the meeting.

i wonder what God is thinking about all of this….murdering ones own child….one created but never being able to breathe the air and decide ones own life….because it was taken from them by their own mother or father or even parents …some parents back in the day would discover their daughter was pregnant and had the baby murdered …its own grandmother or grandfather…these are the last days…oh woe unto them who do these things….thinking that this life is all there is….eternity is a long long time….

I thought the Supreme Court ruled a short while ago that States were now going to make the decisions on how abortions would be conducted or if they would exist at all within the borders of that State through elected representatives? What happened with that? It should be enough that if States elected officials pass laws to ban that poison, then they should have that authorization with the blessing of the voters in that State. What’s with this court and its forked tongued gobble de goop? Another example of phonies that claim to be conservatives that cave when it comes time for the hard work or the fight. I ask when do we get a true opposition party that’s worthy to vote for? You’re letting the lefts one sided slant in this government to shove us on a reservation. Times a tickin and the leftists in their purple haze are destroying this country at lightning speed. Want to wait till things get so fucked up that the only way to fix it is by civil war?

Here is what I understand about mifepristone as it applies to the law:

Mifepristone was originally created for use in certain people with a certain diabetes to “…control high blood sugar in patients with Cushing syndrome who have type 2 diabetes and have failed surgery or are not candidates for surgery…” It was a discovery after some period of time that mifepristone was found to be the cause of miscarriages in pregnant women carrying the same high blood sugar, Cushing syndrome and type 2 diabetes

If a state legislature adopts a bill stating that abortion is banned within the state, then abortion is banned in all it forms and procedures. If mifepristone is administered to women that do not have high blood sugar, Cushing syndrome and type 2 diabetes, and the mifepristone is administered solely to abort the pregnancy it is a violation of the law that states abortion is banned.

The sole intent of the creation of mifepristone is to treat people with high blood sugar, Cushing syndrome and have type 2 diabetes. Any other use is drug abuse. The proper application of the drug is in SAVING LIVES. SAVING LIVES is not murdering the innocent babies.

What I do not understand is why these women got pregnant in the first place. There are many ways to prevent conception, pregnancy, and ABORTION IS NOT ONE OF THEM. Advice to women of this world, STOP USING ABORTION AS A FORM OF BIRTH CONTROL…STOP MURDERING BABIES.

In this particular case our own Supreme Court is hedging on their own decisions to satisfy a very small groups of people, less than .1% of the population, in their continuation of committing immoral acts. Same as same-sex marriage, trans-gendering, homosexuality, pornography, child pornography, pedophilia and supporting the Democrat Party and any other organization that condones such acts; as it is all about KINKY SEX and other IMMORAL ACTS to escape punishment.

In the end, all these people who have killed the innocent babies or committed immoral acts or enabled (voted for) the Democrat Party and supported other organizations of immorality and evil who have not atoned will have to stand and be judged by the Creator, our LIVING GOD, as HE fulfils HIS PROMISES.
