Update: Recount Results for Arizona Attorney General Released

A state judge on Thursday announced Democrat Kris Mayes beat Republican Abe Hamadeh by 280 votes in the race for Arizona’s Attorney General.

Hamadeh was only down by 511 votes against Mayes out of more than 2.5 million ballots cast in the Attorney General race.

However, a “significant miscount” of hundreds of votes was discovered in the recount results.

Maricopa County Superior Court Judge Timothy Thomason announced Mayes won on Thursday afternoon during a hearing.

ABC News reported:

Democrat Kris Mayes is the winner of Arizona’s attorney general race, a state judge announced Thursday.

Mayes defeated Republican Abe Hamadeh by 280 votes after a mandatory recount was triggered due to how close they were separated after the initial tally in November, when Mayes led by roughly 500 votes out of 2.5 million cast.

Maricopa County Superior Court Judge Timothy Thomason unveiled the results of the recount in a hearing on Thursday.

Mayes’ lead from November was nearly halved in the recount. The results showed she had 1,254,809 votes to Hamadeh’s 1,254,529 votes.

“I will say once again that I’m thankful to everyone who took their time to vote, and democracy is truly a team sport,” Mayes said after the results were announced. “I’m thankful for my campaign, transition and legal teams. I’m excited to get to work as your next Attorney General and vow to be your Lawyer for the People. Onward…”

Hamadeh contested the results in a lawsuit filed in the Mohave County Superior Court against Kris Mayes, Katie Hobbs, and all Arizona County election officials.

The judge denied the challenge based on testimony from Hamadeh’s lawyer, Tim LaSota, acknowledging that based on the ballot inspection (a small sample of ballots), his client would not be able to get over 511 votes needed to overcome Mayes.

However, Charlie Kirk on Wednesday tweeted earlier that hundreds of new votes were discovered for Abe, and corrupt Secretary of State Katie Hobbs is attempting to hide this discrepancy from the public.

Abe Hamadeh said voters in Maricopa County were disenfranchised.

Interesting how the Gov and AG voting were similar in the counting outcomes along with the claims that have been reflective in what looks like other democrat controlled areas. From cities to states. Compared across the country. People are now dividing by states and counties. Watching the numbers is giving enemies power over complete states. That is not a very good idea when other nations ways of living surpass our own , in our country. Just something to think about when the undocumented get our grid figured out as they studied it before crossing along with military bases, homeland security … etc to hit us on a multifaceted plan from within. Provided people realize many of the undocumented come from the same places that want us destroyed and our land taken. Anyone check on who some of the biggest land buyers are lately. Instead of trying to fight for the ‘’cause’’, maybe look a bit deeper with a wider view that goes beyond tunnel vision. JMO.
