Some People Are Now Burning Their Crocs. Here’s Why.

Footwear company Crocs is sparking outrage for cosponsoring an upcoming RuPaul DragCon UK event, which is being advertised as open to anyone under the age of 18.

The show, which is also sponsored by BBC Three, will take place in London from Jan. 6-Jan. 8, 2023, according to The Industry.

“RuPaul’s DragCon celebrates the power of authentic self- expression, an idea that lives at the heart of our brand, and we stand with those who bravely inspire others to embrace what it means to truly Come As You Are,” said Yann Le Bozec, Crocs’ VP Marketing EMEA-LATAM & Global Lead Distributor Marketing, in a statement.

“We believe that personal expression is an inherent choice and recognizing what makes each one of us unique is part of our commitment to inclusivity everywhere.”

A “kids fashion show” will also be part of the program, according to advertisements for the event.

For those who have followed the company closely, the latest development isn’t surprising.

Those are the ugliest shoes that have been made. I could never understand why ppl even purchase those ugly shoes. I never have and never will. I would go barefoot before putting those ugly things on my feet

Moms usually do the shoe shopping for the kids and moms can bury this company – as rightfully it should be. This garbage they’re pushing on the youth should be illegal but since it isn’t AT THE MOMENT, consumers can take control and very well make crocs a thing of the past.

Instead of burning them, you guys should ask for refunds.

If you were brought up and taught about right from wrong then you know this kind of behavior is absolutely wrong even if you are a Christian or not. This is pure evil especially when it involves young children. We are living in a time where everything goes but this doesn’t have to be this way push back on this kind of activity, we have a moral obligation to stop this low live depravity from existing.
