An American political historian known as the “Nostradamus” of elections was seemingly at a loss for words early Wednesday when he realized his prediction — that Kamala Harris would win the presidential election — was wrong.
Allen Lichtman, who has correctly predicted the outcome of nine of the 10 elections since 1984, was captured on a livestream repeatedly saying “I don’t get it” as Donald Trump’s landslide victory started to become evident.
The 77-year-old professor and his son, Sam, shared their stunned reactions in real time as the results rolled in toward the end of their nearly six-hour coverage of the election.
“This is the first moment of the night where I’ve lost hope a little bit,” Sam Lichtman said as media outlets called Pennsylvania for Trump.
The elder Lichtman rubbed his eyes, visibly frustrated by the data, and said: “Good thing I have nothing to do tomorrow. And I’m not doing any interviews.”
Lichtman, an American University professor widely known as the “Nostradamus” of US presidential elections, put his money on the VP this year despite polling data hinting another Trump presidency was in the cards.

The prof is the co-creator of the “Keys to the White House” metric, which entails 13 categories assessing the prospects of the two major-party candidates. This year, according to Lichtman, Harris had the edge in eight of those metrics, compared to Trump’s three.
As the livestream neared its end, with both Lichtmans growing noticeably frustrated by the numbers showing Trump ahead in all seven swing states, Allan Lichtman said there was “nothing positive” for Harris in the data.
“Oh, the democracy’s gone,” a defeated-sounding Lichtman said. “Once democracy’s gone, it’s almost impossible to recover. The way to recover is by the dictators losing wars.”
Sam Lichtman was less apocalyptic, saying he hopes Trump serves his term and “we never have to deal with him again.”
“I’ve said it a hundred times,” his dad replied. “Democracy is precious, but like all precious things, it can be destroyed. And typically destroyed from within. And throughout the 21st century, democracy has been in decline everywhere around the world, and America has now fallen in step. But never give up hope.”
“It’s unfathomable,” Lichtman concluded the stream.
What Allen Lichtman didn’t take into account was the Amish vote. The Amish Community never engaged before but when Biden/Harris commie’s administration started to revoke their God giving rights to be free and farm the land; well they realized they had to pushed back.
HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!
I’ll send you some humble pie. Defeated by your own arrogance lol
Lets hope its destroyed. Because it never existed, this a republic, always has been.
BWAHAHAHAHAHA! Oh, gotta love this! WTAF is it with declaring someone a “Nostradamus” just because he can correctly GUESS who will be president ONLY IN THE LAST FORTY YEARS!!! Big fking deal! First one was EASY, Reagan re-elected in a landslide was so easy, a 5 year old could “predict” it. Same with 1988… everyone was banking on Bush being a continuation of the greatness of Reagan’s two terms. When everyone realized what a piece of shit Bush the Elder was, it was pretty damn easy to figure out the fresh-faced southern boy would prevail.
Then everyone got a good look as his cackling ‘HO “I’m not a Democrat, I’m a Progressive” wife…ugh. People ignored her (big mistake) and the good old southern boy got re-elected. Then the SHTF and he got impeached. People really figured out how much of a shit he was. Now comes 2000, and the electorate has had enough of the Clintons, and really don’t want another 4 to 8 years of THAT shitshow with Algore. But they also don’t want a repeat of Daddy Bush’s shitshow either. Third parties are really making headway again, especially after what happened in ’92 with H. Ross Perot. Honestly, 2000 was a toss-up…kinda difficult.
Easy again with 2004, re-electing Bush was a given… 9/11 helped define his leadership, Hurricane Katrina tanked it. People were hot-n-heavy to accept complete gov’t control with the Patriot Act–they were hypnotized well. The HYPNOSIS CONTINUED with this fresh-faced newcomer–Obama. With subtle accusations of racism, he convinced white people to vote for him so they can show everyone that they aren’t racist. If you can hook the college kids–and keep them in college, and thus keep them dumb– then you have a democrap voter for life. Anyone who didn’t see THAT coming just wasn’t paying attention.
The Clintons never left DC (oh, they pretended to be New Yorkers) so, by the end of Obama’s termS, Hillary was like “IT’S MY TURN, DAMMIT!” and so it began. It had to be—Biden was out to lunch back then, and Obama convinced him not to run. Gave him Beau’s death from cancer as an excuse to give to the people. Figured it was in the bag for the hag, then along comes Trump and says the quiet part out loud–“DRAIN THE SWAMP!” The people LOVE it! Trump says “WE ARE GOING TO MAKE AMERICA GREAT, AGAIN!” echoing Ronald Reagan. People REALLY LOVE it! Still figured it was “in the bag for the hag, Killary”, figured they would fk with the machines again, just like 2008 & 2012 with DIEBOLD machines. Boy was I shocked as shit when Trump won 2016! Happy days are here again!
Then, 2020…well… we knew the CHEAT was on, we knew the STEAL was on. Pretty easy to predict the outcome.
So, IDK what year this amateur didn’t make a correct guess– 2000 was a toss-up, and 2016 the dems couldn’t cheat ENOUGH to overcome the sensible electorate. But as far as guessing goes, I guessed correctly since Carter–all but 2016 (I was in high school during Carter Admin.) This year, I knew Trump would win, as long as the demoncrats didn’t CHEAT….but one can never predict how much dems would cheat.
