Founder and CEO of investigative journalism organization Project Veritas is leaving the company he founded in 2011. This comes after some 16 staffers tried to oust him from the leadership of his own company, claiming, among other things, that he was difficult to work for, resulting in a dispute within the Board of Directors.
Neil McCabe of OAN broke the story on Twitter, saying that O’Keefe delivered his resignation in person to his staff at their Mamaroneck, New York office.
James O’Keefe’s “farewell speech” to Project Veritas has been released online, and it gives us a glimpse into exactly what happened between O’Keefe and the board at Project Veritas.
“A former board member told me 10 years ago, Project Veritas will never be stopped from the outside. It will only be because we stopped ourselves… We find ourselves in that situation today, where I have been stripped of my authority as CEO and removed from the board.” said O’Keefe, making the stunning admission.
O’Keefe also suggested that he would start a new venture, saying he’s “not done” and that his next venture will “take on a new name”.

At another point in the video, O’Keefe explains the events that led to being forced out of his position. O’Keefe revealed that he fired a member of the board who disagreed with him about fundraising and that they tried to fire him while he was on a plane to Nashville.

I hope he moves on, and does what he does BIGGER and better. Mr O’Keefe is a breath of fresh air, in a SEWER. I, for one, appreciate him for just exactly what he does. Best of luck, Mr O’Keefe.
I agree James is Project Veritas. Start a new agency and we will support you. This board sounds like a snowflake invasion. When I get their emails I will be hitting the Spam button. Thank you for your hard work and dedication in an unsure world.

It will only be because we stopped ourselves… ” Ironically, that’s the same warning our early leaders warned us of who knew early on that no country can remain free if those in authority become corrupt and immoral. For example:

The sad truth is that we have already lost the country we once had because when a society decays to the point where government controls more and more of our private and property rights, the demands for a police state are essentially guaranteed.
