Doug Emhoff Accused of Serial Sexual Misconduct in Explosive New Report

Vice President-elect Kamala Harris’ husband Dough Emhoff was allegedly routinely “inappropriate” and “misogynistic,” according to his former colleagues.

Emhoff previously managed the law firm Venable’s Los Angeles Office from 2006 to 2017, according to the Daily Mail. Attorneys who worked at the firm accused him of shouting expletives and “asshole” behavior.

An ex-staffer told the outlet anonymously that Emhoff allegedly boasted to management about how he “put [his secretary] in her place” after telling her to “Get the fuck out of my office.”

A former female staffer told the Daily Mail that Emhoff was known for being “very flirty.”

“If you weren’t flirty back or didn’t respond positively then you were on his shit list,” she told the outlet.

Another woman who worked at the firm said Emhoff hosted drink nights for men only.

“He had, for many years cocktail parties where only men were invited,” she told the Daily Mail. “In the office, on Friday evening. When my colleague brought that to the attention of Venable [around 2010], that stopped.”

She also alleged that Emhoff required his colleagues to provide him a cut of new client fees.

A former female junior attorney under Emhoff said he favored “young, pretty girls” at the firm, according to the Daily Mail.

Marjan Rabbi, a former Venable legal secretary, sued the company and two of its partners in 2021 for alleged sex discrimination, according to the outlet. Rabbi claimed senior attorneys at the firm shouted at her and “humiliated and demeaned her,” according to The Daily Mail. Emhoff was not a defendant in the case.

Emhoff was the “Partner-in-Charge” of Venable’s LA office when Rabbi joined the firm in 2014 — the same year he married then-California Attorney General Kamala Harris. One year later, he was promoted to the position of West Coast Managing Director, the Daily Mail noted.

These were not the first claims of inappropriate behavior by Doug Emhoff. Earlier in October, the Daily Mail reported that he allegedly “forcefully slapped” his ex-girlfriend.

“The Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff, 59, allegedly struck the woman in the face so hard she spun around, while waiting in a valet line late at night after a May 2012 Cannes Film Festival event in France,” according to the outlet. An Emhoff spokesperson denied these allegations to Semafor. (RELATED: Kamala Harris And Husband Donated Thousands To Pro-BLM Group That Supported DC Sanctuary City Bill)

Emhoff made a media appearances with former White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki in late September. She stated Emhoff “reshaped the perception of masculinity.”
