Chicago Dem Official Busted After Crashing Into Car While Driving Drunk

A Chicago-area Democrat politician showed her true colors after whipping out her Democrat privilege and insulting a police officer over the size of his anatomy after being busted for drunk driving earlier this month.

The Chicago Sun-Times reported that Cook County Board of Review Commissioner Samantha Steele was arrested by police officers after crashing into a vehicle while intoxicated. Police said the arrest occurred around 8:50 p.m. Sunday, November 10, in the 5000 block of North Ashland Avenue.

According to police reports, officers encountered two cars with “extensive” damage, including Steele’s. She admitted to the cops that she had crashed into another vehicle.

Police discovered an open bottle of red wine on the floor of the passenger side of her car and noted Steele was not sober.

“I observed her eyes were bloodshot and glassy,” an officer wrote in a report. “I also detected a strong odor of alcoholic beverage coming from her breath as she spoke.”

Bodycam footage emerged on Saturday, capturing the exchange between Steele and the officers. She repeatedly refuses to comply with requests to exit the vehicle while bragging she is an elected official from Cook County.

Officers finally opened the car door and pulled her out. Steele refused field sobriety tests and declined to provide a breathalyzer sample, forcing the cops to make an arrest.

During the arrest, Steele also repeatedly mocked the size of one of the officers’ p*nis. “Is your p*nis that small?” she asked.

The Democrat politician was transported to and treated at a local hospital for treatment after complaining of head injuries before being sent to sent to the Lincoln (20th) District. There, she was charged with misdemeanor drunken driving and subsequently released.

Steele faces a fine up to $2,500 and the loss of her driving privileges for up to one year if convicted. Her court date has been set for December 27.

According to the Sun-Times Steele lives in Evanston and represents the Board of Review’s District 2. This includes most of the North Side of Chicago and the northern suburbs.

FOX 32 reported Cook County Commissioner Sean Morrison released a statement demanding her resignation, pointing to her “aggressive behavior” during the arrest.

“This incident raises serious concerns about her conduct and judgment as an elected official,” Morrison said. “If an elected official does not respect our dedicated police officers, then how can we expect the citizens to respect the police?”

She should not have been release. I have a close friend who was taking heart medication and was drinking alcohol and had an accident where he lost control and hit a light pole. He spent 2 weeks in jail, had to pay for the repairs of the light pole and it cost him financially. Just because she is in politics does not give her a pass to walk free. 14 days in jail, pay for the damages on the vehicles she hit and a $15,000 fee for drunk driving and publicly humiliated for her actions. POS.
