A yacht anchored in Nantucket Harbor was searched Tuesday by authorities who found guns, drugs and prostitutes aboard the lavish vessel, according to a report.
The investigation into the Jess Conn, a 70-foot motor yacht registered in the Cayman Islands, has so far led to at least one arrest, the Nantucket Current reported.
The shocking discovery in the harbor of the ritzy Massachusetts island was made after a woman was removed from the yacht for a “wellness check” Tuesday morning, Harbormaster Sheila Lucey told the publication.
She was taken to an ambulance on shore, though it was unclear why she needed medical assistance.
Nantucket police, along with the Coast Guard, kicked off an investigation involving the vessel immediately after.
Sources told the Current that authorities came upon prostitutes, drugs, guns and other contraband while searching the Jess Conn.
Before arriving in Nantucket on Aug. 23, the yacht had been anchored off Newport, Rhode Island, the report said.
Back in May, the Jess Conn ran aground off Florida — though it didn’t sustain much damage.
Coast Guard Station Brant Point executive petty officer Jeff Wecal confirmed that his crew is assisting the Nantucket Police Department in its investigation.
Nantucket police Lt. Angus MacVicar declined to provide further information about the probe to the Current.
“Yes, we are currently working on an involved case and as a result cannot comment on the details,” he told the outlet.
Did Hunter order this?
Party at the Obama’s whorehouse and sexatorium?
Just a little more than a hop, skip, and jump from Martha’s Vineyard.
The police declined to provide further information, and “we can not comment on the details”. That says a mouthful right there.
